Starting new to school - EYFS
You are hopefully visiting this page as you have had the exciting news that your child will be starting Weeke Primary School in September. Throughout this page and other links made, you will be able to navigate your way around in your own time, enabling you to digest the information.
Having a child start their Primary journey can be such a mindfield of information - using the information provided you can refer back throughout the year. Alternatively, you can contact the school office for any information or clarity.
We're proud of our Learning Environment
Helping your child to understand change?
At Weeke we understand the importance of giving as much support as possible to your child, preparing them to transition to their new environment, new people and new experiences. With this in mind, below are a range of books being read out on video. Alternatively, you can order the books and read to your child.
When they start in September, we'd really like to know how they got on with the stories and whether they helped.
The Colour Monster goes to School - Anna Llenas
Ruby's Worry - Tom Percival
Oh the Places you'll Go - Dr Seuss
A Little Bit Brave - Nicola Kinnear
The Otter who Loved to Hold Hands - Heidi Howarth
Story Time
The Early Year team are really exicted about you all starting school in September. We have provided a selection of video for you to watch read by teachers and staff in school.
